I have a confession: I am bored with Cold Case Files. Don’t get me wrong, I love a puzzle, I’ve played many of them. But the formula is absolutely overplayed; it’s everywhere. I wanted to make something that felt unsafe. I wanted to capture the feeling that you’re actually inside a game, not just looking from the outside as if it’s already finished (‘A Cold Case’).
So, I created: The SDA Observation Files.
Your Mission: Define, Locate, and Resolve an anomaly. You will correspond with two agents currently out in the field through the use of a webpage (Remember, it’s a Beta run.).
When you order this, you aren’t getting a shiny game box with plastic pieces. You are getting a plain, stamped envelope addressed to you as an “Analyst” from the Shadow Detective Agency (SDA). Everything inside it will be created by me, printed by me, written by me, and posted by me.
Beta Run (12 Copies Only) I’m a solo creator, not a corporation. These 12 prototypes are handmade to test this “Live Analyst” format.
